The administration of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has chosen to establish an IT excellence center in Rawalakot.
The AJK IT Board has already secured a location for the excellence center and is currently finalizing plans for its opening.
According to representatives of the AJK Information Technology (IT) Board, the IT Excellence Center is a joint project of the AJK government and IT Board with the goal of fostering excellence in digital education throughout the AJK region.
The promotion of IT initiatives and the development of IT professionals’ skills in AJK would benefit from the presence of this center.
Dr. Khalid, the director-general of the IT Board, stated on a blog website that 800 students would receive training over the course of three years.
The first courses provided to IT will be in web design and development, UI/UX design, digital marketing, e-commerce, and mobile app design and development.
Later on, the program will also include courses on contemporary technology. He added that all classes at the center would be free and that they will start in August.
The first batch’s online registration has begun, and the deadline to register is July 24. Each of the five days of the week’s classes will last four hours, including lab time.
