According to a representative for the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Sindh, the famed TikToker Hareem Shah was the subject of a money-laundering investigation on Wednesday.
A video clip of TikToker recently went viral, in which she claimed to have taken a large sum of money out of Pakistan. She was seen flaunting foreign dollars in the video. Here’s the link to the video:
Hareem Shah travelled to Doha on January 10th, according to her travel records.
The FIA Sindh spokesperson issued a statement indicating that the FIA had initiated an investigation against the well-known TikToker for allegedly laundering a substantial number of money. He went on to say that the FIA had also contacted the National Crime Agency in the United Kingdom to pursue action against her.
Hareem Shah claimed in the video that this was the first time she was transporting a substantial amount of goods from Pakistan to the UK. She stressed that such an act must be done with extreme caution.

Hareem Shah’s video taken inside the Foreign Office sparked outrage in October 2019, prompting Prime Minister Imran Khan to urge an investigation into how Shah was allowed. After a video recording of her chat with federal minister Sheikh Rasheed was published, she faced outrage for her remarks. She was abused at a mall’s inauguration event in Dubai in December 2019.
Hareem Shah slapped Mufti Qavi in January 2021 during a “dirty,” “vulgar” chat and claimed Mufti Qavi had physically abused her and her cousin. She files a FIR against a friend for attempted murder and physical violence in March 2021.
