Chairman P@SHAexpressed worry about the harm this internet outage has done to the IT and IT-enabled services (ITeS) industry, which was already dealing with problems like stagnant growth and a potential decline in IT service exports because of unfavorable government policies and a lack of policy continuity.
The IT sector’s operations have now been wholly suspended by the political unrest.

He asked the Prime Minister to give the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) instructions so that internet services could be restarted right away.
The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), the Ministry of IT & Telecom (MoITT), and Tech Destination Pakistan administrations were also enlisted to support him in his efforts to persuade the Prime Minister to issue clear directives to rectify the problem right now.
