Rawalpindi:- AAA Associates, in its continuous endeavour to promote sports activities for the general masses, sponsored the 4th Intra-Village Cricket Tournament at UC Sahang, Gujjar KhanThe sponsorship of the event was part of the ever-increasing efforts of AAA Associates to espouse sports at the grassroots level.A total of 50 teams participated in the tournament.
The final was played between Pomi Shah Eleven Latifal and Al Noor club Kharali. Al Noor club Kharali won the first prize trophy of Rs. 300,000 and was awarded a shield. The event concluded with a colourful award ceremony and numerous other players were given trophies in different categories.
The tournament’s chief guests were Raja Babar Qaramat and Israr Ul Haq. Assistant Director Sales AAA Associates Imtenan Kiani handed over the trophy to the winning team. The competition drew a large number of locals, who enthusiastically enjoyed the cricket matches.
Chairman AAA Associates Shaikh Fawad Bashir reaffirmed his commitment to sports patronage. He emphasized the significance of grassroots sports in society. He congratulated all of the competing teams and expressed his gratitude for their participation in the event.
MD AAA Associates Lt. Col. Shahzad Ali Kiani also stressed the importance of sports for emotional development of our youth. He said, “Sports is a way of bringing communities together and inculcating harmony and unity among them. AAA Associates is committed to the welfare of society and will continue to back sporting tournaments in order to bring out the sporting prowess of our youth”.
