New State, PUBG’s latest edition of the popular Battle Royale game, has received a huge update to mark the start of the new year. PUBG New State will receive a completely new map as well as new items to use while playing.
The information came from PUBG’s Twitter account, which has been teasing the imminent update for the past week. Three photos of the next map have been released by the firm, showing us what to expect.
Plains, hills, and woods will be mixed together with modern structures and a central city tower on the map. It will be a vast map with a river running through the middle.
Aside from the new map, PUBG has hinted that the January 2022 update would include “new tools” and “tactical gear.” A drone can be seen spying on an enemy squad taking goods in a building in the teaser trailer.
This will most likely be a manually deployable drone that can indicate opposing players’ locations when they make contact.
The video doesn’t show much else, but after the upgrade is out, there will most certainly be more “tactical gear.” Look at the video.
They expect a fresh set of cosmetics with every new PUBG release, but the business hasn’t said anything about it yet. The January 2022 update for PUBG New State will be released on January 12th.
