Pakistan Railways has launched a newly upgraded railcar rake on the Lahore–Rawalpindi route to enhance comfort and service quality. The event was officially inaugurated in Lahore, where senior officials and staff gathered to celebrate the improvements aimed at providing a smoother, cleaner, and more enjoyable travel experience for all passengers.

During the inauguration, CEO Aamir Ali Baloch stated that the upgrades symbolize Pakistan Railways’ dedication to providing quality service at affordable prices. Baloch added that the modernization efforts extend beyond this route, with plans to upgrade several other trains and carriages across the national network soon.
