In terms of production and sales, Honda Atlas Cars Limited (HACL) has had a dismal year. Due to problems with the supply chain brought hampered by import restrictions, the company’s output was atrocious for two months.
According to a recent notification, the car manufacturer will shortly start up again. The automaker attributed the ability to restart production to a “slight improvement in the accessibility of trade financing facilities”. Here is the official notification:
Sales Went Down of Honda Due To Closure of Its Assembly Plant
The automaker’s manufacturing was supposed to be suspended from March 9 to May 15. Although a manufacturing resumption is promised in the latest announcement, the precise date is not stated.
Only 207 automobiles were sold by automaker last month, despite being one of Pakistan’s largest automakers in terms of production and volume. The car model named Civic, the brand-name sedan of the firm, saw no sales within the group.
The automaker’s most recent poor performance came during the COVID-19 shutdown period in 2020. The restart of production should aid Honda in regaining market share.
