Since roughly two years ago, PC gamers have had difficulty obtaining GPUs. To purchase an AMD or Nvidia graphics card recently, you either had to be lucky, wealthy, patient, or very skilled, but the long wait is now gone.
The RTX GPUs from Nvidia are now offered for MSRP on Best Buy and other significant retail websites in America.
Therefore, it won’t be long until Pakistani consumers can once again buy graphics cards at fair prices.
GPUs Available at MSRP
Even eight hours after Best Buy’s weekly discount, the RTX 3070 Ti Founders Edition remained on sale for its $599 MSRP, as noted by The Verge.
On the website, the RTX 3070 Founders Edition was also offered for $499. These weren’t just lucky catches either, since the cards were still on sale the following morning for the same price.
Both the normal RTX 3070 Ti and the 3070 FE are included in this. The Radeon RX 6750 XT, 6900 XT, and 6950 XT are also available for MSRP on AMD’s website.
The RTX 3080 is presently available on eBay for about $700, which is the same price that Nvidia first stated it would charge at launch.
Causes of This Sudden Change
This development has a number of primary causes, including the recent crypto meltdown. When mining rigs are disassembled, miners sell the GPUs for cheap, often for less than half the original cost.
This has partially restored the weak GPU supply, bringing it up to par with the rising demand, which has steadied the market.
Not to mention that the majority of people are still waiting for the market environment to improve and for newer, better GPUs to arrive, which has caused a little decline in the demand for GPUs.
Soon, Intel will unveil its own desktop GPUs, and later this year, the RTX 4000 series is anticipated from Nvidia.
This is anticipated to lower the cost of practically all GPUs worldwide.
It is reasonable to state that the global GPU scarcity has finally come to an end, better late than never.
