Pakistan’s top players have signed up for the upcoming Lanka Premier League, Sri Lanka’s T20 league.
The Lankan franchises have signed Haider Ali, Imad Wasim, Iftikhar Ahmad, Azam Khan, Mohammad Hasnain, Anwar Ali, and Shoaib Malik as players.
Haider Ali, a hard-hitting batter, will play for Aura Dambulla in the upcoming Lanka Premier League season, while Jaffna Kings have strengthened their batting lineup with the addition of veteran Shoaib Malik.
The Galle Gladiators have signed several Pakistani players. Imad Wasim, an all-rounder, will play for the Galle Gladiators. Batters Iftikhar Ahmad, Sarfaraz Ahmad, and Azam Khan are also expected to play for the Gladiators.
Furthermore, the two sprinters Mohammad Hasnain and Anwar Ali have agreed to terms with the Galle Gladiators. The League will begin on December 6 in Sri Lanka. Five teams compete for the title in the T20 league. The third edition’s final will be held on December 23, 2022.
Shahid Afridi was already named the icon player by the owners of Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Quetta Gladiators and LPL team Gal Gladiators.
However, Pakistan’s Muhammad Amir, Sarfraz Ahmed, and Azam Khan have now joined the team.
