A seven-member medical board at the Poly Clinic in Islamabad has been recommended to examine former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, who was arrested in the Al-Qadir Trust case, according to a report from local news channel on Tuesday.
Dr. Fareed Allah Shah serves as chairman of the seven-person medical board, which also includes Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed of the C.M.O. Poly Clinic and specialists in medicine, orthopaedics, cardiology, general surgery, and pathology.
Poly Clinic’s administration was approached by NAB Rawalpindi, requesting a medical checkup for PTI leader Imran Khan.
NAB requested for IK’s medical examination
According to our sources at the Poly Clinic, the administration requested that NAB submit a written request for a medical examination of Imran Khan, which NAB duly did.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party had earlier in the day appealed to the public to “save the country” after the detention of former prime minister Imran Khan.
