Given the potential disruptions caused by the Chinese New Year festival, Xiaomi’s SU7 mass production is expected to begin following the break, which ends on February 19.

According to reports, the tech giant will most likely produce only 2,000 units of its first electric car in March. Production capacity is expected to gradually increase until July, reaching 10,000 units.
The company intends to maintain this level beyond July. The start of mass production is expected, followed by the first deliveries.

However, there is still no information on the exact timeline. According to reports, the SU7 Max will cost about $50,950.
It should be noted that Xiaomi’s highly anticipated electric vehicle, the SU7, was released in late December of last year. Lei Jun, the company’s founder and CEO, revealed the vehicle to the public at the launch event in Beijing, China.
During the event, Lei Jun revealed that his company aspires to be one of the world’s top five automakers within the next 15-20 years. He added that Xiaomi’s goal is to create a dream car on par with Porsche and Tesla.
