The schedule for the official World Cup warm-up matches has been released, and Pakistan is scheduled to play against both New Zealand and Australia in Hyderabad.
The official warm-up games for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, which will take place from September 29 to October 3, have been announced.
The matches would be spread out across three Indian cities: Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, and Guwahati.
The purpose of the warm-up matches is to provide teams a chance to evaluate and adjust to the conditions before to the main competition.
Schedule for ICC World Cup 2023 Warm-Up Matches
Intriguing games on the schedule include Bangladesh vs. Sri Lanka in Guwahati on September 29, South Africa vs. Afghanistan in Thiruvananthapuram that same day, and New Zealand vs. Pakistan in Hyderabad.
The match between Australia and the Netherlands will take place in Thiruvananthapuram on the same day as the match between India and England in Guwahati.
Cricket fans may look forward to a thrilling match between England and Bangladesh on October 2 in Guwahati.
Thiruvananthapuram will simultaneously play home to a game between South Africa and New Zealand.
Afghanistan will play Sri Lanka on the following day at the Guwahati stadium.
The game between the Netherlands and the host country India will be the center of attention in Thiruvananthapuram.
On the same day in Hyderabad, Pakistan will play Australia in what is sure to be a thrilling match.
Time To Start the Matches
All games are set to start at 2:00 PM on Indian time, and teams are free to field their whole 15-player squads, allowing for strategic evaluations.
These practice matches will give fans and the participating teams an idea of how well-equipped and prepared the teams are for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, which will officially begin on October 5th, 2023.
