With a new feature, WhatsApp is about to improve account profiles for everyone. The dependable WABetaInfo has discovered yet another upcoming feature in WhatsApp’s latest beta version.
This time, it’s about WhatsApp profiles. Like Facebook and Twitter, the Meta messaging app will soon allow you to add cover photos to your profile.
It is currently in development for WhatsApp Business accounts, and there is no indication that it will be added to the standard version of WhatsApp.
However, because the feature is not limited to business applications, we anticipate that it will be added to the standard version as well. WABetaInfo has also included screenshots to show what the upcoming feature will look like, as is customary.
The camera button on the cover photo allows you to take a photo right there and then or upload one from your gallery. When you add a cover photo to your profile, all of your WhatsApp Business contacts will be able to see it when they visit your profile.
Because the screenshot above is from WhatsApp for iOS, it is likely that it will be available first to iPhone users. Because the feature is still in development, there is no set launch date, but we will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
