WhatsApp Is Kicking Kashmiris Out of Their Accounts India

It has been more than four months since India cut of all lines of correspondence in India Occupied Kashmir (IOK). During these 4 months, Kashmiris have been denied access to phone lines, Internet or some other technique for reaching the outside world. Presently, the individuals of Kashmir are having their WhatsApp accounts deactivated because of 4 months of idleness because of WhatsApp strategy on dormant clients.

Normally, this had individuals and particularly Kashmiris living abroad asking why these records were being closed down. There was disarray about why their loved ones abruptly began leaving gatherings. It turns out WhatsApp pursues its parent organization Facebook’s arrangements on information security which prompted these inactivations. “To keep up security and point of confinement information maintenance, WhatsApp accounts for the most part lapse following 120 days of dormancy,” said a representative of the well known informing application while conversing with BuzzFeed News. “At the point when that occurs, those records naturally leave their WhatsApp gatherings. Individuals should be re-added to bunches after recapturing access to the Internet and joining WhatsApp once more,” he proceeded.

This paints one more obvious image of the Indian severity going on in Kashmir for the world to see. Kashmiris are being denied of the major right to speak with their friends and family or know about what is happening in the outside world. 4 months without web get to is incomprehensible in this age. This is only a hint of something larger, and innumerable different animosities are being done against the Kashmiris by Indian powers that we know nothing about.
