Vivo is gearing up for the launch of a new Y-series smartphone. The company will launch the Y21T early next month. MySmartPrice exclusively reported about the Vivo Y21T launch date. The smartphone will debut in India on January 3 as per our sources. Ahead of the official launch, we have received the complete spec sheet of the upcoming Vivo smartphone, courtesy of tipster Mukul Sharma. According to Sharma, the Vivo Y-series smartphone will launch in a single storage option. It will also come in two colour options. Vivo Y21T will launch in India as a new budget smartphone under Rs 20,000. Ahead of the launch, we have the complete specs of the device. The phone will sport a 6.58-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels. The phone will support a 90Hz refresh rate and sport a 90.6 per cent screen-to-body ratio.
On the back, the phone will sport a triple-camera setup. As reported earlier, the device will have a 50MP primary camera. It will be accompanied by a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone will have an 8MP front camera.
The device will come with 4GB of RAM. It will also support Vivo’s extended RAM feature and offer 1GB of additional RAM from the 128GB internal storage. The device will pack a 5000 mAh battery under the hood and support 18W fast charging. It will draw power from a Snapdragon 680 SoC.
In terms of software, the phone will run Android 11-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box. It will measure 164.26 x 76.08 x 8mm and weigh about 182 grams. The phone will have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It will come in two colours – Midnight Blue and Pearl White.
