Babar Azam and Tom Latham unveiled the trophy for Pakistan and New Zealand’s upcoming five-match T20I series, which begins tomorrow.
The Pakistan-New Zealand series has gained momentum when the two captains announced the trophy for the series. The trophy presentation took place at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, which will host the first match of the series.
Babar Azam and Tom Latham removed the gilded trophy’s veil. The trophy is designed in the shape of an hourglass and is crowned with a star signifying Pakistan and a fern representing New Zealand.

The unveiling of the trophy has increased the excitement for the series, and cricket fans are excited to see the tough fight between these two formidable sides.
It will be an excellent occasion for Pakistan to demonstrate their abilities in front of their home audience, while New Zealand will seek to kick off the series on a high note. The eagerly anticipated series will feature five matches in Lahore and Rawalpindi.
The first three matches will take held in Lahore on April 14th, 15th, and 17th, followed by two matches in Rawalpindi on April 20th and 24th.
New Zealand’s white-ball tour of Pakistan included five-match T20I and one-day international series in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi.
Lahore will host the first three T20Is, Rawalpindi the remaining two T20Is and as many ODIs, and Karachi the final three ODIs.

PM Shehbaz Sharif ordered VVIP security for the New Zealand team in Pindi
The first T20I of New Zealand’s tour of Pakistan is planned to take place on 14 April at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
While the visiting team has received state-level security in Lahore, the situation of security in Rawalpindi and Islamabad is still being discussed, with talks between Islamabad Police and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) still underway.
With the BlackCaps expected to arrive in the capital on April 18, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed that state-level security measures be put in place, as the protection of the team is a key priority for the Pakistani government.
Islamabad’s Chief Commissioner convened a meeting with officials from both cities to discuss a combined security plan involving all law enforcement agencies.
The Additional Commissioner asked the police to prepare a daily security plan report to be submitted to the Commissioner’s Office and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
