The Nightshade has blacked-out badging and black accents, and all models come standard with bronze-finished 18-inch wheels.
A sport mesh gloss-black front grille with blacked-out Toyota badges, black painted sport side rocker panels, black capped heated power outside mirrors, and blacked-out rear badges, as well as a black shark fin antenna, rear lip spoiler, and lower diffuser, are all part of the distinctive trim. In addition, the Hatchback model has a large black Vented Sport Wing and a two-toned roof.
The Toyota New Global Architecture-C platform underpins all Corolla Nightshade models, providing exceptional handling agility and ride comfort.
The Corolla Hybrid Nightshade model is available in both Front Wheel Drive and Electronic On-Demand All Wheel Drive configurations, with a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve 138-hp engine paired to two electric motor generators, and has a combined manufacturer estimated fuel economy rating of 47 MPG.
The Corolla sedan and hatch gas models are powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve 169-hp engine, with the sedan model getting 34 MPG combined and the hatch model getting 35 MPG combined, according to the manufacturer.
Sport seats with sport fabric inserts, 4.2-inch color Multi-Information Display, Toyota Audio Multimedia with eight-inch touchscreen, and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 are standard on all 2024 Corolla Nightshade models.
Midnight Black Metallic, Classic Silver Metallic, and Ice Cap are available colors for the Corolla sedan and Hybrid Nightshade Edition, as well as two-tone paint combinations for the Corolla Hatchback Nightshade Edition. For added convenience and security, the JBL Premium Audio package and SE Premium package are available.
The Nightshade Special Editions add even more flair to the Corolla lineup, which has already seen several updates for the 2023 model year.
The Corolla Nightshade models are expected to hit Toyota dealerships in the fall of 2023, with more information and pricing to be revealed later this year.
