European traders announced on Monday that a Pakistani government agency released an international tender for the purchase and import of 110,000 metric tons of wheat.
Dec 27 is the cutoff date for price offers to submit in response to the Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) tender.
Allowed Wheat Importing Countries
They stated that the wheat should come from the most recent crop and can buy from any optional location in the world, excluding Israel and India.
In 2024, shipment desired in consignments weighing at least 50,000 tons during two window of time between Jan.
The dates are, however, January 10–15 and January 17–22.
Shipment Arrival Date
The shipments have to be planned so that by February 12, 2024, the purchased material reaches Pakistan.
10% more or less than the tender volume can purchase by the agency at its discretion.
According to traders, Pakistan thought to have a significant import need in order to curb the rise in flour prices.
However, the nation’s financial problems have limited its imports.
