It was reported on Friday that the 100-index of the PSX continued to be bearish on the last business day of the week.
The index experienced a loss of 439.83 points. Which is equivalent to a negative change of 0.56 percent, before finishing at 78,029.50 points. Which was lower than the previous day’s closing point of 78,469.33 points.
PSX Trading Session
As a result of the trading session, a total of 278,327,575 shares were exchanged during the day. Which is a decrease from the previous day’s trading volume of 327,279,993 shares.
Additionally, the price of shares was recorded at Rs 11.621 billion, which is a decrease from Rs 15.283 billion on the previous trading day.
KSE-100 Market
During the course of intraday trading, the KSE-100 market experienced a value of 78,569.88 points at its greatest point and 77,921.47 points at its lowest point.
With that being said, there were a total of 429 firms that traded their shares on the stock market.
Of those companies, 114 saw gains, while 255 experienced losses. On the other hand, the share price of sixty companies stayed steady.
On Thursday, the KSE-100 index of the PSX had a downward trend. Resulting in a loss of 927.68 points from the previous trading day.
This is a negative change of 1.17 percent, and the index ended the day at 78,469.33 points. Compared to 79,397.01 points on the previous working day.
During the course of the day, a total of 327,279,993 shares were traded. Which is an increase from the previous day’s total of 386,980,823 shares.
Additionally, the price of shares was 15.283 billion rupees, which is a decrease from the previous trading day’s price of 14.899 billion rupees.
During the period in which 445 firms traded their shares on the stock market, 135 of those companies had gains, while 263 of those companies experienced losses. On the other hand, the share price of 47 companies stayed steady.
