Next year, Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S series will receive a minor update that may improve its durability.
The series gets new models every year with camera and hardware upgrades, and the Galaxy S23 (due in 2023) will have a flat display rather than a curved screen like the Samsung Galaxy S22. Ice Universe, known for his trustworthy leaks, revealed this.
Because of the flat, less curvy display, the screen will be larger. The S23 ultra is expected to include a new Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and faster UFS 4.0 storage.
According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy S23 will have the same camera system as the S22.
The only difference is that the display is less curved, which will improve durability because curved displays are more likely to break if the phone is dropped.
According to some reports, the S23’s external design, including the camera, sensors, and screen, will remain unchanged, with only the hardware being upgraded.
The Samsung Galaxy S series is more well-known for its curved-corner edge display.
Because more screen is exposed to the environment, this curve screen display increases the likelihood of breakage. Because a small fall could cause more damage to the screen, this over-exposure increases the risk of non-durability.
