If you’re thinking about getting a Chromebook, Samsung’s Galaxy Chromebook 2 is one of the best options right now.
It’s the first Chromebook with a QLED panel, which allows for vibrant colours and strong contrast, and it has a longer battery life than the convertible’s predecessor, which couldn’t even last five hours on a single charge.
We weren’t lovers of the Chromebook 2’s plasticky feel or its high price tag, but we were pleased with the Chromebook overall and particularly appreciated the red model’s vivid, lively style.
For a limited time, Amazon is selling the $699 model we tested with an Intel Core i3-10110U chip, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of eMMC storage for $549, which is one of its lower prices. You can also get the same deal at Best Buy and Samsung, which are also offering discounts on other configurations.
