Quetta Gladiators defeated Karachi Kings by 8 wickets and registered their first win in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 7.
Quetta’s bowling unit controlled the proceedings at the National Stadium Karachi, and Karachi’s batters never got going. Karachi were bowled out for 113 runs in 17.3 overs, the fourth-lowest total in PSL history. A young fiery bowler, Naseem Shah, took his first five-wicket haul in the PSL as he demolished the opposition batting line-up.
The Gladiators could comfortably hunt down the mark, thanks to openers Ahsan Ali and Will Smeed. Quetta has moved up to second place after winning one of their first two matches. On the other hand, Karachi has lost two consecutive games and is at the bottom of the points table.
