A Strom R3 is a two-seater full-electric three-wheel personal mobility vehicle with a stated range of up to 200 kilometers on a single charge and a price tag of Rs 4.50 lakh.
EVs have been making waves in India for the past several years, and the future for electric vehicles in India looks brighter than ever, with many global and local manufacturers preparing to launch EVs. The Strom-R3 is an Indian electric vehicle that has made headlines due to its low cost and creative approach to the concept.
The car has a design that emphasizes the car’s diminutive size, measuring 2,915mm in length, 1,510mm in width, and 1,545mm in height. From certain angles, the front fascia recalls that of the Mahindra e2o, but with a tall and wide grille element spanning from both ends and wrapping around the bonnet, it takes a more modern approach. The bodywork is upswept from the bottom and a black waistline merges into a tail, with hexagonal shaped doors on either side. The compact car even has a small sunroof, as well as a single wheel in the back.
Three screens are installed in the interiors, one measuring 7 inches and the other two measuring 4.3 inches and 2.4 inches, respectively. These are the screens for the infotainment, instrumentation, and climate control. On the center console, there are two air conditioning vents, and the inside is two-toned in black and light grey. The Strom-R3 features 4G connectivity, navigation, voice control, gesture control, and other features.
