According to a report released on Tuesday by the tech infrastructure company Cloudflare, Elon Musk’s Starlink satellites expected to generate almost four times as much internet traffic globally this year.

Starlink Satellites Growth
In contrast to 2022, Starlink traffic in the US climbed by more than 150% this year, according to Cloudflare’s end-of-year research.
The satellite firm started operating in Brazil last year, and since then, traffic there increased by more than 1,600%.
The Associated Press reports that certain illegal mining companies that would not otherwise have many options for communicating with one another in the isolated regions of the Amazon have become Musk’s clients in Brazil.
Musk continues to expand his global influence through the service, as seen by the speed at which it has developed, despite his many problems.
Service At Par Excellence
Cloudflare reports that while global internet traffic surged by 25%, satellite’s giant traffic increased at a far quicker rate.
“They’re continuing to make their service available in more and more places, which will just drive more and more traffic onto their network,” David Belson, Cloudflare’s head of data insight, said in a phone interview.
Cloudflare’s growth statistics have not been verified by Starlink, an affiliate of Elon Musk’s SpaceX rocket company.
An inquiry about the numbers for comment from SpaceX was not promptly answered.
