Sharjeel Memon, minister of transportation for the province of Sindh, has announced the release of a mobile app for the People’s Bus Service. The National Radio and Telecommunications Commission (NRTC) and the Transport Department were also represented at this event.
The discussion resulted in a consensus to integrate the bus system with the digital infrastructure. In addition, beginning on August 20th, the People’s Bus service will include 20 environmentally friendly green buses.

When asked about the travel difficulties faced by the people of Sindh, Sharjeel remarked, “The Sindh Government understands the problems of the people and wants to alleviate their suffering.” There will also be audio equipment, USB connections, Wi-Fi, and a driver alarm placed in the vehicles, in addition to the CCTV cameras.
There was also talk of expanding the number of surveys connected to bus travel on the Lyari Expressway. Transportation initiatives for the rural areas were also discussed. Sharjeel predicted that “Rural areas will be connected to urban areas through the People’s Buses.”
The route from Hala Naka to Kisana Mori in Hyderabad was also proposed for the service’s launch. The conference was led by Sharjeel Memon and included Salim Rajput, Kamal Dayo, and Tufail Plaju.
