The Sialkot PSL franchise has announced its team name, Sialkot Stallionz, before the 11th match of the Pakistan Super League season (PSL 2026). This move not only creates awareness about the legacy of cricket played in Sialkot but also expresses the franchise’s intent of being strong contenders in the coming season. Franchise Ownership & Auction
The Sialkot franchise was later owned by OZ Developers, led by Hamza Majeed, as a result of an auctioning of teams that took place on 8th January 2026. The purchase deal of this franchise was set at a fee of PKR 1.85 billion annually, making it more expensive compared to other teams in the history of PSL.
Debut Season & Home Venues
The Sialkot Stallionz will make their debut in PSL 11, starting from 26th March and continuing up to 3rd May 2026. Although the home ground is Jinnah Stadium, Sialkot, for Sialkot Stallions, the home initial matches will be played at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, due to the incomplete preparation of the stadium.
