Samsung Electronics has denied media reports that the organization has sold one million Galaxy Fold cell phones all around since the gadget’s dispatch in September.
Samsung Electronics president Sohn Young-kwon said at a meeting sorted out by US tech media TechCrunch that the South Korean tech monster has sold one million Galaxy Folds up until this point, twofold the business’ previous gauge.
In any case, a Samsung representative said Sohn may have mistaken the figure for the organization’s underlying deals focus for the year, stressing that offers of the tech company’s first foldable handset have not arrived at one million units, Yonhap news office revealed.
Prior, Samsung said it expected to sell 500,000 Galaxy Fold all around this year. Industry insiders said Samsung’s foldable telephone deals will get one year from now, with a potential 6,000,000 units sold in 2020.
It is reputed that Samsung will uncover its new clamshell-style foldable telephone in February 2020 close by its S11 arrangement.
“Samsung is relied upon to sell 6 million units of its foldable telephone in 2020 and 20 million units in 2021,” Choi Bo-youthful, an expert at Kyobo Securities, said.
“Costs of foldable telephones are relied upon to go down continuously, and this would push up interest for foldable handsets.”
