Petroleum Dealers Association called for a strike. Pakistan State Oil (PSO) announced they will ensure petroleum supply everywhere.
The PSO says they are getting petrol to the stations without any problems. They promise that the petrol stations will have enough petrol.
A person who speaks for the PSO said, “The petrol will keep coming out of the pumps.”
The gas company says they always try to help people. They promised to keep helping people during the strike.
The gas company, which is across the whole country, promised to keep giving gas (petrol). They will make sure everyone has enough petrol during the strike.
Before, the government and the gas station workers talked, but they did not agree. The gas station workers still want to go on strike.
The government talked to the gas station workers’ group after they said they would strike. But people say both sides did not agree.
The gas station workers’ group did not cancel the strike. They will not stop working in Islamabad because of the death of the vice president of the Petroleum Dealers Association Punjab.
Almost all gas stations in the country, except in Islamabad, will be closed. The strike started today, Friday at 6 am.
