Schools in the capital of Punjab will not be allowed to run summer camps or administer exams this year, according to Lahore District Education Authority CEO Pervaiz Akhtar.
In a statement, the head of the district education authority said that in addition to three district education officers (DEOs), twelve deputy DEOs, and fifty assistant education officers (AEOs), the authority has also formed committees at the tehsil and centre level.
The schools will be completely closed in Lahore
Akhtar has ordered that the directives of the Punjab School Education Department be carried out, and he has instructed the teams to report daily progress.
No examinations of any kind will be allowed to be held throughout the break. When the teams go to their assigned locations in the Lahore district, they will enforce the rules strictly.
Akhtar added that, during the break, schools will not be allowed to host any extracurricular or instructional events.
He told the parents that if they had any problems, they may contact the Education Office of the Chief Executive Officer.
