Many markets and gas stations were reportedly shut down in Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Bahawalpur, and Chichawatni, according to reports in the local media.
People were inconvenienced by the call because transportation services are still partially disrupted in several areas of the nation.
Markets Situation Due To Strike
Many markets in significant metropolises were open today despite the protests. Although they opted against halting markets, traders insisted that they would support the protest against inflation.
As thousands of tweets have been uploaded on the microblogging service, the closure has continued to trend on social media sites.
Saad Rizvi, the leader of the right-wing party, claimed to be a vocal supporter of human rights and stated that the Pakistani people will back their call for a strike.
Due to the severe inflation, we were compelled to announce the strike, Rizvi stated.
He also criticized the current administration for failing to assist the suffering people.
