Pakistan’s liquid foreign reserves totaled $13,097.8 million as of February 16, 2024. According to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday, the central bank’s foreign reserves totalled $8,012.8 million.
Commercial banks’ net foreign reserves stood at $5,085 million on February 16, 2024. According to the SBP, commercial banks hold US$ 5,092.6 million in net foreign reserves.
SBP’s reserves fell by $44 million to $8,012.8 million in the week ending February 16, 2024, as a result of debt payments.
The SBP said its reserves fell by US$44 million to $8,012.8 million as a result of debt repayments during the. Meanwhile, commercial banks’ net foreign reserves remained at $5,085.0 million.
Earlier on February 15th, it was reported that the SBP’s foreign exchange reserves stood at $8,056.5 million, up $13 million from February 9th, 2024.
