Instagram used to just let you follow other users, but recently introduced a “subscription” button in addition to the standard “follow” one. Despite being introduced earlier this year, this function is now also available in Pakistan.
Similar to Twitter’s Super Follow feature, Instagram’s subscribe option unlocks exclusive benefits and privileges from individuals you subscribe to, but only for a fee. When you leave a remark or send a direct message to an influencer, for instance, you will receive a special subscriber badge that will be shown next to your name.
When influencers launch a subscriber-only social channel, it will unlock special material that is only accessible to members and enable discussion with them. The influencer will also send messages to subscribers alone, which paying users will also get.
You essentially become a paid follower with further benefits. View the screenshot that follows.
The pricing will vary depending on the creator and be a monthly membership. Most designers would typically charge approximately Rs. 200, however others may charge more or somewhat less. Another option is to give a subscription as a gift.
Not all Instagram producers will have a subscribe option on their profile, it is important to note. Only those who enable it have access to it. Go to a creator’s profile to see the subscribe button there. The standard “Follow” and “Message” buttons are right next to the button.
Subscriptions can be paid for with credit or debit cards, as well as through the payment options offered by your mobile network.
The functionality should be visible to the most, if not all, local users now that it is accessible to users in Pakistan. Make sure the most recent version of the Instagram app is installed.
