The most recent PMD alert states that monsoon currents are now entering the nation continually and are expected to change and increase in the upper and central regions of the nation starting on July 27.
From July 27 to July 31, severe rain, wind, and thunderstorms are predicted in Islamabad, Punjab, KP, AJK, and GB due to the effect of this weather system.
In some areas of Sindh and Balochistan, heavy rain, wind, and thunderstorms are anticipated from July 27 to July 31 as well, however, the intensity of the monsoon in Sindh will begin to wane on July 28.
Between July 27 and July 31, urban flooding is predicted in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Nowshera, Mardan, Faisalabad, Lahore, and Gujranwala.
The local nullahs of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Shakargarh, Sialkot, Narowal, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Dir, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, AJK, Loralai, Barkhan, Kohlu, Mosa Khel, Sherani, Sibbi, Bolan, and DG Khan are predicted to experience flash floods from July 27 to July 31.
From July 27 to July 31, landslides are predicted in Galiyat, Murree, Chillas, Diamir, Gilgit, Hunza, Astore, Ghizer, and Skardu.
Heavy rainfall is anticipated in the catchment basins of the Ravi, Jhelum, and Chenab, which might result in a major rise in water levels from July 27 to July 31.
