Digital Chat Station, a well-known Chinese tipster, recently shared Oppo’s schedule for the rest of 2022. Later this year, the company is expected to release two more foldable phones, as well as a new Find X5 phone.
There were no additional details provided, but it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. There is currently no confirmation, but it will be a minor upgrade over the current Find X5 Pro.
Furthermore, it is unclear whether the future Find X5 Pro will be produced in limited quantities, similar to the Find X3 Pro Photographer Edition, which was developed in collaboration with Kodak in 2021.
Oppo is also working on new foldable phones for 2022, one of which will be the Find N’s replacement. It may be known as the Find N2, and the codename for this device is “White Swan,”.
Furthermore, Oppo is working on the Dragonfly clamshell foldable to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
Oppo is also expected to launch Colors 13, the Watch 3, the Band 2, and other products this year. At the company’s major launch event for its foldable phones, we may also see some wearables and accessories. The brand-new Find X5 Pro is expected to be released in August, with the foldable model following in September.
