Oppo released the A57 5G with Dimensity 810 and a tall 90Hz display last month. Now, the Chinese manufacturer has released a 4G version of the handset in Thailand, with improved battery specs but downgrades in other areas.
The screen is a 6.56-inch LCD with a 720p resolution, but the refresh rate has been reduced from 90Hz to 60Hz. The phone’s design remains unchanged, so the fingerprint sensor remains on the side.
The Dimensity 810 SoC found in the 5G version has been replaced with the more modest Helio G35 chip, and memory options have also been reduced. You now get 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, with the micro SD card slot allowing for up to 1TB of expansion.
On the back, there is a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera has an 8MP resolution and a wide-angle lens. The battery capacity remains at 5,000 mAh, but fast charging has been increased to 33W. (Up from 10W)
