The OnePlus 11 will be available worldwide on February 7, but it will not be the phone’s first official release. The brand’s Weibo page has just announced the date of its Chinese launch, which will be January 4.
This year, we only got the OnePlus 10 Pro, with no sign of a standard model. According to rumours, we will only get a OnePlus 11 in 2023, which means there may not be a Pro model this time.
It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, with up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage and 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, the fastest memory standard for phones at the moment.
These specifications were only recently confirmed via the teaser campaign.
Software
In terms of software, it will ship with Android 13 and ColorOS 13, but only in Chinese. The global variant will most likely receive the standard Oxygen OS.
This event will also serve as the launch event for the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 TWS earbuds, which will be available internationally in February.
Camera
Three cameras will be mounted on a circular, “Oreo-shaped” island on the OnePlus 11. Some of the rumours and leaks have already been confirmed by the company.
Colours
There will be two colour options: one in black with a sandstone finish and one in green with what appears to be a glass back.
Launch
There are ten days until the next flagship is released. We’ll be watching OnePlus’ social media accounts for updates.
