HMD Global is refreshing the Nokia feature phone lineup with two new models: the elegant 150 and the music-centric 130.
Nokia 150 (2023)
The Nokia 150 (2023) strikes a balance between form and function. The phone’s construction, which is made of colored polycarbonate, prevents paint chipping and surface scratching. It also has an IP52 rating, which protects it from dust and light water splashes.
The device’s visual appeal is enhanced by the textured back panel and metallic-feel function keys on the front.
Aside from these design elements, the 150 has the standard feature phone functionality and isn’t all that different from the Nokia 150 from three years ago.
The phone runs the Nokia OS S30+ and has a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels on the front.
Because of the added microSD card storage (32 GB), photos taken with the 0.3MP camera and MP3 music files can be easily saved on the phone. Additionally, it has an FM radio receiver and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The battery is detachable and rechargeable via micro USB (USB 1.1), with a supporting charger included in the retail box.
This battery performs admirably, providing 20 hours of talk time or 30 hours of uninterrupted music playback. The Nokia 150 (2023) will be available for $33 in Charcoal, Cyan, and Red color options.
Nokia Music 130
The rear design of the Nokia 130 Music, also known as the Nokia 130 (2023), makes its purpose clear.
It replaces the camera with a larger speaker. This model, like the 150, supports MP3 playback from a microSD card (up to 32GB) or through the FM radio. The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack and comes with a pair of earphones in the box.
This model shares common features with its counterpart, including a 2.4-inch display, a feature phone operating system, and a 1,450 mAh battery. Notably, it still makes use of a micro USB charger.
This phone will be available in Dark Blue and Purple and will cost $22. A Light Gold variant is also available for $24.
