Construction of a road connecting Gujranwala by NHA
The Gujranwala Motorway Link Project, a Rs. 11 billion endeavour to link the city to the motorway, began development last month. The city’s 600,000 citizens will benefit from the project’s completion within 90 days and its improved accessibility.
The project entails building a road that is 58.1 km long and features two flyovers, linking the city of Gujranwala to an interchange in the vicinity of Mooramanabad. Fayyaz Aslam, DC of Gujranwala, has promised that the highway will remain open to traffic for the duration of the project.
Since Gujranwala does not have access to the superhighway at the present time, this is being hailed as a significant improvement. The new connection will increase economic activity in the area by making travel to and from other regions of the country more efficient.
