Over most of England, yellow heat health warnings have been issued with forecasts. Showing Tuesday’s temperature might rise to as high as 32C (90F).

The alerts from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), in force until Wednesday. Cover all part of England except the North East and North West.
Particularly in the South East of England and London. The agency said the hot weather might have “significant impacts” on the health and social care sectors.
Covering much of England and portions of Wales. The Met Office has separately issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms later in the week.
The hot wave may cause “observed increase in mortality across the population likely, particularly in the 65-plus age group or those with health conditions. But impacts may also be seen in younger age groups,” the UKHSA cautioned.
On Tuesday, temperatures in London and the southeast of England might rise to 32C.
For this time in July, many areas of the nation will have temperatures four-to- five degrees warmer than normal, the forecaster advised.
Monday and Tuesday may see some clouds and maybe rain. Only in the far north-west regions of Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland.
With a temperature of 31.9C recorded at St James’s Park in downtown London. July 19 proved to be the hottest day of the year so far.
Is Heatwave Health Under Way Here?
A few areas in England and South East Wales may meet heatwave conditions. In which case temperatures will surpass the Met Office specified temperature threshold on three consecutive days, depending on where in the UK you are.
That threshold in the London area is 28°C. For Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, much of northern and western England, it is 25°C.
Should nowhere in Scotland hit 25C on Tuesday, it will be the first July since 2010 for which temperatures there have not matched this level.
With a yellow warning issued by the Met Office for significant rain and thunderstorms, the dry weather for much of the nation is expected to break on Thursday.
The alert covers much of southern England, the Midlands, areas of Wales, much of northern England, and warns of “lightning, hail and gusty winds” that might cause some disturbance.
It runs Thursday from 00:00 BST and finishes at 23:59.
The rest of the month should offer drier, brighter weather to the south east and breezy conditions to the north west.
