The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) recently made significant improvements to its service delivery by reducing the processing time for urgent Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) without charging any additional fees.
Previously, the delivery period for Urgent Identity Cards was 23 days, but it has now been reduced to just 15 days.
This development was announced by a NADRA official via their official account, which is good news for citizens who want their ID cards issued quickly.
Individuals can now submit an urgent application for their ID cards to any NADRA office and expect delivery within 15 days.
This service enhancement aims to reduce applicant inconvenience while also increasing overall ID card processing efficiency.
In addition to improving delivery times, NADRA has revised its fee structure for various types of ID cards. Starting this month, a normal ID card costs Rs750, while an urgent ID card costs Rs1500.
NADRA charges Rs2500 for executive ID cards. The revised fees are intended to reflect the services provided and ensure transparency in the application process.
Overall, NADRA’s initiatives reflect a commitment to improving customer satisfaction and modernising service delivery.
NADRA aims to streamline operations and provide a more efficient and convenient experience for applicants seeking CNICs by shortening processing times and implementing transparent fee structures.
NADRA’s implementation of faster processing times for urgent ID cards represents a significant milestone in the organization’s efforts to improve service delivery and meet citizens’ needs more efficiently.
By emphasising accessibility, transparency, and efficiency, NADRA is poised to strengthen its reputation as a dependable provider of critical identification services in Pakistan.
