In the twin cities, the development of mobile puncture businesses has significantly increased their popularity among cars and cyclists looking for a quick fix for flat tyres.
On the Srinagar Highway, a mechanic named Murad Khan who runs a mobile puncture shop on his motorcycle claimed that mobile businesses are outfitted with all the equipment and tools needed to swiftly and effectively patch a flat tyre, making it simpler for drivers to get back on the road right away.
He claimed that mechanics had posted advertisement banners with their phone numbers in the appropriate places so that riders can call them.
Need of More Mobile Tyre Puncture Shops
“Not only do these shops benefit the riders, but they also provide a livelihood for the mechanics,” he added. In addition to fixing flat tyres, puncture shop guy Murad Khan claimed he also offers bike services and transports people when puncture work is unavailable.
He claimed that customers are willing to pay a little bit more for the convenience compared to a typical puncture, which costs about Rs. 100.
Saad Abbasi, a cyclist, claimed that this new practice of mobile tyre repair services has made it simpler for two-wheeled drivers to get assistance on the road without having to stop at a conventional store and that it also saves them time and bother.
According to him, the mobile puncture shops offer new career opportunities for mechanics and business owners who are trying to make a living.
Owais Latif, a traveller, claimed that because these businesses are mobile, the technicians can react swiftly to customer needs and offer services as needed.
