The Punjab police has chosen to boycott well known fight royale shooter PUBG in Lahore after two young people killed themselves over the online computer game, the office reported on Tuesday.
The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Punjab Police, Ashfaq Khan, has chosen to compose a letter to the Federal Investigation Agency and the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) mentioning them to boycott PUBG in Lahore.
PUBG is a fight royale based endurance game where 100 players are dropped onto a huge front line where they fight it out for plunder and chicken meals (#1 spot). Since its dispatch, the game has done outstandingly well with a large number of players downloading the game during the principal seven day stretch of dispatch. In December 2019, PUBG Mobile had 200 million more downloads.
The Lahore High Court (LHC) guided concerned specialists to boycott the portable game in the locale following its “negative effect on kids”. The ongoing self destruction cases have been enlisted by the police and further examinations are in progress.
