Japan’s human resource authorities would soon visit Pakistan to engage Pakistani information technology (IT) specialists, said Mitsuhiro Wada, Japan’s ambassador to Pakistan, on Thursday.
In Islamabad, the Japanese ambassador met with Syed Amin Ul Haque, the Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication. During the discussion, the two parties agreed to increase IT cooperation between the two countries.
In a meeting with the Ambassador, Pakistan’s IT Minister stated that the country’s IT professionals may assist Japan. He went on to say that Japanese Information Technology firms might hire Pakistani IT expertise since the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications was ready to assist them in any way possible.
The Minister emphasized that Japan could provide specifics on its requirements and credentials, which Pakistan would be able to meet. He highlighted that officials from Japanese Information Technology corporations may visit Pakistan and hire Information Technology expertise, and that the Ministry of Information Technology would provide all necessary support.
The Japanese Ambassador was also briefed on the Ministry of Information Technology’s plans as well as IT industry reforms. Pakistani youth, according to the Ambassador, are talented, and the country’s IT specialists might be advantageous to Japan. He also praised the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications’ efforts to realize the Digital Pakistan Vision.
The Ambassador praised the Ministry of Information Technology’s efforts for the Digital Pakistan Vision, noting that Pakistan is a country of youthful and brilliant people.
Dr. Sohail Rajput, Secretary of State for Information Technology, and other Ministry officials were also in attendance.
