Marriyum Aurangzeb spoke about the big problem of smog. She said some smog comes from India. But most of it comes from local industries.
She warned about using plastic. Marriyum called it a “death sentence” for nature and people. The Senior Minister Marriyum said plastic use is very common.
It hurts our world a lot. To fight this, she stopped making plastic in Punjab. No factories make plastic bags now. She promised to punish those who break this rule.
Aurangzeb talked more about smog. She said smog has two sources. Some comes from India. But most comes from local factories.
Marriyum added that, the government will fix the smog problem. They will take productive initiatives to help.
One plan is to stop tire burners. They make a lot of smoke. The government also made a plan for solid waste.
The Chief Minister of Punjab helped too. He supported green projects. This includes e-buses and a new transit system.
Aurangzeb also talked about cars. She changed the Motorway Ordinance.
Now, all cars need a fitness certificate. This will help cut car emissions. Cleaner cars mean cleaner air.
