Only three Pakistani businesses—Highnoon Laboratories, Systems Limited, and Tariq Glass Industries—made this year’s Forbes list of Asia’s Best Under a Billion, but 34 Chinese and 32 Indian publicly traded businesses topped the rankings.
Prior to this, the list was prepared in 2019, 2021, and 2022 the Highnoon Laboratories, one of Pakistan’s biggest and fastest-growing businesses made its space in the list.
Systems Limited, meanwhile, was already on the list for 2020, 2021, and 2022.
Revenue of 3 Pakistani Companies By Forbes Asia Best Under a Billion List
Highnoon Laboratories, Tariq Glass, and Systems all have market values of $79 million, $70 million, and $441 million respectively, according to the Forbes website.
According to Forbes, Systems had a net income of $32 million on revenues of $155 million. Tariq Glass reported higher revenues of $166 million and a $23 million profit. Highnoon Labs, meanwhile, reported $55 million in sales and $9 million in net income for the same period.
200 of the best-performing small and mid-sized businesses in the Asia-Pacific area with annual sales under $1 billion are honored on the list each year.
Companies Honored Under Forbes Asia Billion List 2023
200 small and midsized publicly traded companies in the region were honored on this year’s Best Under A Billion list overall for outperforming despite significant global obstacles like inflation and increased borrowing costs. The industries that stand out are mostly chip manufacturing and associated ones.
Healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, and other industries’ IT solution providers are among the other top performers on the coveted list.
As COVID-19 restrictions started to disappear, firms that depend on consumer spending experienced an increase in sales. 58 people from last year’s list are back this year, worldwide.
