In an effort to provide electronic wallets and other crypto capabilities, the smartphone industry has been gradually embracing the cryptocurrency market. On Tuesday, June 28, HTC Corporation unveiled its first “Viverse” phone, which will concurrently support cryptography and (NFT) technology and be fully compatible with its metaverse platform. Users can access and manage their Metaverse material using the apps that are already preloaded on the HTC Desire 22 Pro.
Users will be able to create their own virtual area and purchase non-fungible tokens (NFTs) using the “Viverse” app.
The 6.6-inch HTC Desire 22 Pro has a 120Hz display with a resolution of 2414 x 1080 pixels, a Snapdragon 695 CPU, and 8GB of RAM.
Additionally, it will be the ideal companion for the HTC Vive Flow virtual reality glasses.
The Desire 22 Pro includes pre-built crypto wallets for Polygon and Ethereum-based assets, just like other HTC “cryptophones” do.
Shen Ye, HTC’s global head of product, stated during the launch, “The smartphone opens new immersive experiences as the perfect partner for VIVE Flow – whether it’s meeting colleagues in VR, or enjoying your own private cinema anywhere you are.”
For 399 British Pounds, you can pre-order the Desire 22 Pro in the U.K. If users purchase the package along with a Vive Flow VR headset, they will receive a 15 percent discount.
