Password-changing for Instagram accounts
The next thing you should do right away is reset your account’s password if you discover anything fishy with your Instagram accounts, including an odd login or a picture you never posted. How? Read on.
Launch the Instagram application on your smartphone.
Go to the profile tab in the bottom right, then press “Settings” from the “3 bar” menu in the top right corner.
Go to the settings and choose “Security.”
The first selection here is “Password.” Select it and then enter both the new password and your current password twice.
When finished, click the checkmark icon at the top to save your new Instagram password.
- Open the Instagram app on your mobile phone
- Head over to the profile tab on the bottom right
- Now select the ‘3 bar’ menu at the top right corner and tap ‘Settings’
- Go to ‘Security’ within the settings
- Here the first option is ‘Password’ Select it
- Now enter your current password as well as the new password twice
- Once done, hit the ‘checkmark’ button at the top and you’ve set your new Instagram password
- Log out of all sessions that are open
