Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel announced in a statement that the cabinet also approved determining the prices of 54 new medicinal drugs.
He stated that these medications are used to treat cancer and other chronic diseases.
“The incumbent government is committed to providing relief to the people through effective measure,” he said, adding that ensuring the availability of medicines is govt’s top priority.

The previous administration increased drug prices by up to 700% while in office, according to information provided to the cabinet.
The minister of health, Abdul Qadir Patel, announced that the cabinet had also agreed to set prices for 54 new medications. These medications, he claims, are linked to the treatment of cancer and other chronic diseases.
