Passports can now be renewed online, bypassing the need to visit an office, thanks to a new initiative announced by Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah. Citizens’ complaints about the lengthy wait times associated with renewing their documents will finally be addressed thanks to this novel approach.
The Federal Interior Minister, Rana Sanaullah, announced the introduction of this user-friendly e-passport feature via a tweet on his official social networking account.
“Goodbye, bothersomeness! The tweet announced the launch of a new electronic facility that would allow for the renewal online, eliminating the need to physically visit an agency.
This will facilitate passport makers
With the advent of the online passport renewal service, residents no longer have to waste time and energy travelling to the designated agencies.
Renewing the document was a major hassle for citizens before this digital initiative was implemented because of the enormous lines that frequently formed outside offices.
