Samsung has revealed that the Galaxy Watch 4 will include the much-anticipated Google Assistant. The best thing is that the South Korean IT behemoth even revealed the schedule for its deployment.
Recent speculations claim that the Google Assistant will soon be available on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4.
In Spain, a Samsung Galaxy Watch commercial includes compatibility for Google’s virtual assistant, with the man in the film blurting out the buzzword “Hey Google.”
As a result, some have speculated that Google Assistant may soon be available on Samsung’s Galaxy Watch.
According to a report, even though Google and Samsung worked on the Wear OS of the Galaxy Watch 4, it still lacked Google Assistant. Instead, the Korean tech giant’s wearable portfolio exclusively supported Bixby.
However, it looks that customers of the Galaxy Watch 4 series are still waiting for Google Assistant functionality.
Those who prefer Google’s virtual assistant over Bixby should be able to get the former on their wristwatch.
However, Samsung has already said that Google Assistant will be available on the Galaxy Watch 4 series. However, the timeframe was very ambiguous at the time, leaving people unsure of when it will arrive.
It will be available “in the coming months,” according to Galaxy Wearables.
